1: Putting It All Together Composition & Foundation
In this three-part series, Jessica explains the importance of taking everything we have learned and developed all year long and incorporates it into a complete idea and composition. Through the use of studies, thumbnail sketches and various photos, a complete idea materializes and the painting is developed. In the first video lesson, the painting comes together through the use of sketches, and the design and values are blocked in on the canvas. There is also much talk about developing a concept and keeping a clear vision as you work through the trial and challenges of the process.
